Roble

Roble (Amburana Cearensis) is a very strong hardwood with light yellow colouring. Featuring a smooth lustre and texture with a closely interlocked grain, Roble has excellent machining and turning qualities, finishes and polishes well. If left untreated Roble will mellow down to a silver grey appearance. Alexander Rose’s Roble is FSC® certified and comes from Bolivia. Roble features strength comparable to that of Teak, with a durability of up to 25 years making this an ideal choice for making high quality wooden garden furniture.

Roble comes with a 10 year warranty.

Olefin Cushions

Olefin cushions are made using 100% dyed premium olefin yarns, making them rot and fade proof.

The cushions can be easily brushed clean using a household cleaner solution for more stubborn stains.

To minimise cleaning Alexander Rose recommend that cushions are kept covered or in storage during prolonged periods when not in use.

The Alexander Rose olefin cushions come in green, oatmeal and charcoal.

Olefin cushions come with a 2 year warranty.

Timber Care

Alexander Rose Manufactures Garden furniture that will last for many years, but over time the natural weathering process will begin as evaporation of natural oils and minerals in the wood begins from exposure to the elements. Cracks and splits can appear in the wood particularly on the end grain. The drier the wood, the more cracks will appear.

Alexander Rose timber furniture is designed with this in mind and its strength and durability will remain unaffected. Wooden furniture can be treated with Alexander Rose’s specially formulated care products to enhance the natural look of the wood. Alternatively the wood surfaces can be left and will eventually turn an attractive mellow silver grey, and should be occasionally cleaned with soapy water.
